How it works

Measure. Track. Discover.

From the moment you book to the moment you walk out with answers, here is what the visit looks like.

01

Choose your tests

Take one, or combine two or three in the same visit for a fuller reading of your body.

02

Visit and get tested

Most tests last 8 to 15 minutes. No needles. DEXA, VO₂ Max, and RMR are each non-invasive. Show up prepped per your session guide.

03

Walk out with your report

Every figure arrives with context: what it means and the move it points to. Not raw output, but a clear next step.

Before you arrive

How to get ready for each test.

Quick answers

Common questions.

DexaFit combines clinical-grade equipment with data-powered reporting drawn from over a decade of real-world data across four continents. Most providers leave you holding a number. We give you the number, the context behind it, the likely drivers, and a clear next step.

Yes. A DEXA scan uses a very low dose of X-ray radiation, well under a standard chest X-ray and close to a few hours of the background radiation you absorb in everyday life. The technology has served hospitals and research labs for decades and is regarded as safe for most healthy adults.

The DEXA scan takes about 8 minutes to administer. With check-in and a walk-through of your results, plan on about 30 minutes total. The VO₂ Max test takes about 15 minutes to administer. With check-in, a warm-up, and a results walk-through, plan on about 45 minutes total. The RMR test takes about 15 minutes to administer. With check-in and a walk-through, plan on about 30 minutes total. Booking all three in one visit usually wraps in an hour and a half or less.

On GLP-1 therapy, the DEXA scan is the one that counts most. It reveals whether the weight you're shedding is fat or muscle, which the scale cannot show. Roughly 1 in 3 pounds lost on GLP-1 is lean mass, and a DEXA tells you whether that applies to you. Adding RMR rounds out the full metabolic view.

Yes, and we recommend it. DexaFit reports use the same clinical technology and terminology that physicians know. Many clients carry their results to a GP, endocrinologist, sports medicine doctor, or dietitian. The data fits straight into a clinical conversation.

Most clients come back every 3 to 6 months to track how their body answers shifts in training, nutrition, or protocol. One visit sets your baseline. Repeat visits reveal what's working, right down to the tissue level.
